| Hayden stays with Repsol! From Soup Hayden on Factory Repsol Who's the second? I say Tamada if Repsol can agree to run with a mixed tire manufacture like Sito Pons is able to. |

| Re: Hayden stays with Repsol! Repsol almost demands a Person of Hispanic origin. Xaus would be cool. You know I thought he was going to be the wash out this year, crashing more bikes than were available to him, but he did very well despite the bike. He had moments of true talent show through. So, given the right bike I bet he'd be pretty good.
Looks like Hodgson is gone, Bayliss we know is off the Ducati sqaud possibly replaced by Hopkins..... So who really knows. |

| Re: Hayden stays with Repsol! Sete is the main guy for Telefonica Moviestar, he's the reason they left Suzuki to sponser their own bikes. I can't imagine a guy with that much pull to one sponser would leave. To put it into prespective, Biaggi wasn't enough to keep Marlboro money. |

| Re: Hayden stays with Repsol! I doubt seriously that Repsol will accept and non spanish rider. They threw a fit last year when the ride was available. Only reason Barros was on the squad was Repsol wants a spanish rider. It's a spanish product and they want that connection. Xaus is the only rider who fits the bill. Biaggi I think would stay with Pons, he did better than the factory guys.

| Re: Hayden stays with Repsol! If repsol wants a hispanic rider they would get someone from spain. I seriously doubt they would hire someone from brazil if they wanted a "hispanic" rider, brazil has about as much to do with spain as america does. I'm not even sure you could call people from brazil "latino". In fact the word "Latino" was invented in the USA. Saying that Barros was on the repsol team because of his nationality seems like a guess to me....probably a wrong one.
Gibernau or Xaus I could understand.... |

Every rider within a team wants to be the #1 rider. In order to be recognized as such, you must prove your worth on the track and in the results. Consider then, the past performances of Honda's army of riders...... |

| Re: Hayden stays with Repsol! Biaggi is supposedly to have full factory support next year on a RCV. What I can't find out yet, is if he is going to be Nicky's team mate or not. Over the past month, it seemed it was going to go that way, but if so, they would have announced it by now, along with Nicky's press statement about the next 2 years. HRC must be playing hardball with Repsol right about now |
