| Laguna 2005 GP Who is going and who has seats already? I think I read of CCwilli trying to get through to the ticket office this week, must have been a mad amount of calls. I got the gen admission and paddock pass 6 weeks ago or whenever they announced it. I just called today and bought a grandstand seat for both days. If you want a ticket, you better order soon Gen Adm is $90, grandstand seat is $10 for Saturday, $15 for Sunday, and the typical bs processing(tax) fee on top of that. Get em while there hot, could be Rossi's last season |

| Re: Laguna 2005 GP Got em when you did. No grandstands though, just paddock and general admin. I like to walk around the course with a comfy captains chair and sit in different spots. |

| Re: Laguna 2005 GP Just outside of Monterey. About an hour south of San Jose, and a couple south of San Francisco. |

| Re: Laguna 2005 GP I have 2 rooms in nearby Marina reserved and 3 tickets, 3 paddock passes, 3 motorcycle parking already paid for. We got the rooms back in July. The paddock and parking passes are already sold out, but there are still tickets left. Good luck finding a room even though it is early. You can probably find a room in Monterey if you've got the ka-ching. |

| Re: Laguna 2005 GP I would suggest getting something cheap in Santa Cruz or San jose. Those are the best bets even though it's an hour+ drive. If you are going to make a vacation out of it, just do the drive the couple days for the races and the rest of the time you don't have to go back to Monterey. There won't be any available hotels... |

| Re: Laguna 2005 GP 2 years ago I found an opening at the Motel6 in Marina for about 95.00 the Friday of the race weekend.
Seaside, Carmel, and Marina are next to Monterey.
San Jose is a bit far to travel, and San Fran definately is.
Salinas, CA would be the best bet for lodging - availability and price. It is about 20 minutes from Monterey and Laguna Seca. |

| Re: Laguna 2005 GP Another reason to not stay in San Jose, Gilroy, Morgan Hill, Hollister areas would be the route you have to take to the track is highway 101. It travels through a small town, Prunedale, which is heavily patrolled (double fine 55, ticket for 65 is normal). It's a complete traffic bottleneck during summer months when tourists are out. Anytime there are races at Laguna Seca (bike or car), this area is insane with traffic.
If you can get into Salinas, Monterey, Carmel, Marina, Sand City, Watsonville you'll have a lot more enjoyable weekend.
You guys might also look into B&Bs in Pacific Grove.

| Re: Laguna 2005 GP I'm still looking for (2) paddock passes, I have a GS seat and gen admin for all 3 days.
Anyone got some they wanna part with, shoot me a line! (although I know my chances are slim) |
