| Re: SPOILER: Valencia 2004 Nicky still is doing well. Sucks that he crashed today. That was the last thing he needed. Seems like every time I start to get excited to watch Nicky he crashes. Sucks. I like the kid and want to see him do well. Really glad Honda hasn't given up on him. I like when hard work is rewarded even if the results are less than spectacular, and still respectible.

CE finished a disappointing 5th.
Hayden was on a factory bike and didn't fare as well.
Today it looked like amateur night for Hayden, did you see him put the bike down? The kind of lowslide it was, reminded me of a street rider putting a bike down or something
Oh well, the season is over, none of the Americans did that great. Hopkins showed some flash, and good on him for not jumping ship.
Rossi won 9 races this year, same as on the RCV. Same amount of wins on a weaker bike, if he was on the Honda this year, he might have won 12-13 races. |

| Re: SPOILER: Valencia 2004 It was a good race...
I was really excited for Nicky, until he lost it. I was pleased to see that CEII finished the season the same way he started it, racing for the middle! Chatter? Maybe when he's second fiddle on the Yamaha he'll find more than excuses.
In all it was a crazy year and I was please that Bayliss finally got on the box, just a little too late. |

Hayden took a 5th in his first year....so I assumed the Texas Tortoise would best that. He had seen much more of the tracks, riders, and world competition, so I had expected him to run for the 3-4 slot....

There are so many variables dude. Only one of which being Nicky's injuries and missing a race! Correct me if I'm wrong, but CE raced in all the races right? And Nicky missed on completely and crashed out of a few. Yea, so finishing a bit behind CE isn't so bad.
Please take note that I have not been one of the CE haters on this board. I just won't suck his schlong either. CE has tons more experience than Nicky. He SHOULD be finishing ahead of him. I don't believe that the bikes are *that* different. Different, yes, but not as much as some would have us believe.
Honda knows things that we don't....

| Re: SPOILER: Valencia 2004 Nicky was outstanding until his get off. Amateur Night? Just shows what kind of twit some on this site are. I was surprised however that hanging it out for Colin (as he again spouted off) is still midpack. I'd still liked to have seen Colin cut some good race laps, especially since it is a well-known track to Colin. I'm sure Colin's talents will be beaming next year on the powerful Yamaha. Only "time" will tell, not his "groupies".

| Re: SPOILER: Valencia 2004 And Nicky took the fall well, he owned up and said that he couldn't save it bacause his knee isn't strong enough yet. I gotta think next year he'll find himself and be upfront and consistant. At least it's what I say now
I don't know about the sencond seat on the Telefonica team? I think it's cursed since the tragic accident with Kato, I'd love to see Bayliss on the Honda, but not that bike. It's bad carma for the team to still display #74 on the bikes and trailers and leathers. When it comes to sports I'm very superstitious.
Let the silly season begin with full speed! |

Its just that I don't stare at pics long enough to notice those things unless they have or in them
