British photographer Tim Keeton won the professional contest with a spectacular shot of former Grand Prix rider Noriyuki Haga, pictured avoiding Vince Whittle’s bike at Oulton Park, during a British Superbike round.

how did he ride right through it, he looks as if he's pretty much right at the bike. sucks that the race had to be held off for so long cause Haga's tires must have gotten nice and warm after that.

Did the best I could and upsized w/Photochop to 1600. Still under 1MB...

It actually happened pretty quickly. The bike was already on fire from way behind Haga, and caught him in a hurry. Haga didn't even know it was coming. It just flew past him and accross him, he had no time to react , it was all over before he knew what happened. He rode through it unscathed.
