Any of you Euro-types care to explain what the hell the story is on the air horns at bike races...?

Always wondered about this...hope it never catches on here...

when your guy comes around the track, you 'light it up' and he 'feels' you there for him. Believe me it makes a difference!

I remember colin being quoted as getting pumped at all the british WSBK and GP rounds because the fan base really backed him as he made his way around the track...

Maybe I should take an airhorn to VIR!?

The Airhorns are the it shows support for the rider, total enthusiasm. I wish it WOULD catch on here
