And personally, I thought the Shoei dragon of '04 was L-A-M-E. Like an elementary kid drew it. That would have had me changing up on that basis alone! |

Damn fine helmet, nice quick release system, extra thick visor and tear-off mounts on my RSR. I'm not sure that its the the quietest helmet in regards to wind noise though.
The RSR got the nod in a German helmet comparison, beating out more extensive Arais and Shoeis. From memory my Shark was between $AU50 -$AU100 cheaper than its competitors.

| Re: Miguel Duhamel switches to Shark helmets Shark's are wierd. My head feels like someone is attacking it with an axe, on my forehead in a Shark helmet. Haha. They do look OK, but can't go past an Arai I rekon. And speaking of bsb, christ, how many replica Arai lids are there in that series? Every Tom, Dick, and Harry has got his own Arai replica in England. Haha |

I was the opposite the Arai and Shoei's felt like they were digging into my forehead, the Shark was the best fit by far. Used have an Arai but apparently Arai changed the shap of thier lids so my head don't fit no more. |

Weed? why? want some? Nah, I just put that at the end of things I say that MAY get taken the wrong way, just to let them know it's in fun. Could be worse, I could quote everything before I post an answer to it, when it's quite obvious what's being spoken about. LOL That better? |

Those helmets are very big in the UK, and are starting to show up more over here. There was a couple of posts about weird fit on those. I checked into them last year 'cause I liked some of their designs.
They are handmade, and no two fit the same. They are also a small make (like the brand of jeans I USED to buy ). My daughter wears a large lid, and she couldn't get an XL Shark on. I also think that XL is the biggest size they (used to??) make. If you try on a size and it doesn't fit, don't be afraid to ask to try another of the same size.
I liked the quality looking at them in the shop, and have read some good reports on them. |

I have and love that particular helmet...... Guess you have to be into the dragons..... To each his own... can't wait to see if the new shark helmet ends up having a dragon theme as well. |

| Re: Miguel Duhamel switches to Shark helmets woops, sorry. I should have put a hahaha at the end....
Anyway, don't get me wrong, I really liked the '03? dragon design - it was nasty in a good way - but the '04 dragon seemed a little "Petes Dragon" and less "Dragon Slayer".
hahaha |
