| Re: Bayliss quitting???? Well, it seems like the good riders find a way. I really liked him up until now. What an eye opener.
"Why should I be smooth, when I can ride it like raped ape. Smooth is for sucks."
Odd thing is that CEII is one of the smoothest guys out there and he was having problems. So what's the problem? |

| Re: Bayliss quitting???? There was a segment on PI testing on Sports Tonight last night. Bayliss was 3s off the pace but didn't sound like he was about to quit. He seemed to think he was finally starting to get valuable info about the bike from testing at PI. Rossi was the pace. Edwards and Hayden were saying Rossi is the man. |

Edwards and Hayden were saying Rossi is the man. | The only thing to pay attention at these tests, are the race sims. The lap times just don't mean much right now as they are testing too many components one at a time. The IRTA tests will be where they are doing it for keeps, everyone. The guys that are concerned with their image, etc, are the ones slapping on 1 lap qualifiers to try and steal the test during the unoffical stuff. The real story (as Tobes pointed out in a recent article on superbikeplanet.com) is the race sim's that the riders do. Rossi at Sepang, now at PI has been consistently 2-4th fastest, but he is already causing fear in the paddock because of his race sims. I read 5 seconds (better than last year) , and someone mentioned 30 seconds for another. 30 seconds, I don't know if that is true, but if it is, damn! |

| Re: Bayliss quitting???? I would guess it is when they go out and simulate a race. Run the race distance and see how the times compare to previous years. |
