Re: Lets have it. 2005 MotoGP predictions

Wow these are early predictions but I'll bite. I think Rossi is the clear #1 as most riders in their hearts accept that they're really racing for 2nd. I would love to see Hayden finish right behind him but he seems to struggle with consistency. He clearly has the ability to be the fastest guy out there but he's got to put together a complete race before he can put together a complete season. He's a quick learner and as people have said before on this forum he works really hard and puts in a lot of seat time. Earlier this year he put in 270 laps over a 3 day test. Anyway this is getting long.

Rossi
Gibernau
Biaggi
Hayden
Capirossi

Everyone seems to be hedging their bets with the Tortoise....

I waffled there as well....emotionally, I want to see him do well, so I am hoping that he turns out to be a wild card and puts on a show...

Rossi was stingy with his tutelage while he was with Honda....but like many others I am hoping he will do a little mentoring at Yamaha, even if it is only for the sake of poking a thumb in Honda's eye.....

Then why isn't Mladen there? You think he's just the Bubba Stewart of the AMA? (I know Bubba made the switch this year, but he was known as a sandbagger)
