Corser ruled the day regardless of the rain that hit during the second race.

Régis Laconi put in a HUGE effort to almost save a high side during Race 2 but still bit the dust...only to spring to his feet and man handle the Duc engine back to life......he got a cheer from all of us above Siberia on all his subsequent laps as did Troy Corser.

The guys I was with got some air time when the racing was suspended as rain hit. They were decked out in their yellow ponchos. Best that you'll see of me is the back of my head through.

Probably for the best though.

What a difference a year makes. Only one Ducati in the top ten of race one . . .

Last year was the Ducati Parade and this year nowhere close. Chili wounldn't ride the 999 last year, now we now why.

He had to work hard to make his way through the field in that race I think he was back in 12th at the start of Race 1. So yer top effort.

But being Aussies, I pretty sure Corser and Vermullen have done a few laps of Phillip Island in thier day.

Poor BBoz. As my favorite racer I am sadden to see how "crappy" he s doing this year. I really wanted to see him go to SBK and be top 5. It's really good to see Troy Corser win a race. He has to be without a doubt the nicest racer I have ever met. Real stand up guy who deserves to win.
