Bubba's race.

So for those that watched the race what did you think of Bubba's win? I only hope he tones his cockiness down a bit. If he was a tad more humble I think he be headed in the right direction. It's nice to see he is as fast/faster then RC and CR. SHould make the rest of the season interesting. All RC needs to do is finish infront of or 1 position beind Reed and he wins the championship. So I think since Bubba has nothing to lose he's gonna go all out for every race and probably win the rest, ok most of the rest.

Re: Bubba's race.

After seeing him in person at St Louis and Red Bud last year I knew it was only a matter of time. He's the fastest rider out there indoors - he just needed some time to acclamate to the 250 class - and he's only 16, right?

I agree about the cockiness stuff, though. After winning St Louis he did the worm (or some stupid dance) out on the track - it sort of ruined his win for me.

I am looking forward to this years outdoor season. Last year Reed had NOTHING for RC outdoors where the tracks aren't groomed to perfection.

Re: Bubba's race.

Outdoors is a whole other story. I think outdoors will very interesting this year. RC should be on the RMZ-450 by then and some rumors of the Kawi 450 being ready are circulating as well. I think Reed doesn't have much for anyone outdoors either. He's best at SX.

Re: Bubba's race.

I believe with maturity, he'll be a hot contender for a long time if he stays healthy. Look at Pastrana, he was hot and cocky when he started but just can't stay healthy due to his cocky FMX stuff. Not that there is anything wrong with that, I truly enjoy watching Pastrana doing FMX, but it has cost him dearly in racing. Bubba will mature with more wins and I do believe he'll be a force to reckon with in the next few years. It should make for great racing.

Re: Bubba's race.

He IS 16, and he did just beat no doubt one of his hero's did he not? I'd hate to think what I would have done at that age in the same position. I'm a big enough idiot now, let alone after something like that.
