Rossi and Sete usually have some entertaining duals but often Rossi seems to just follow Sete around until there are a handful of laps left then he takes the lead which is where it gets interesting... unless it's a race where Rossi sets off from the pole and just leaves everyone behind... then it's really boring. I suppose if Rossi started on the last row of the grid in every race he would still finish the season top 5 in points.
I'm not quite ready to give up on Nicky yet. He was lapping some record laps before he fell off the pace. |

Reminded me of a NASCAR race... | Exactly.....IMO that's the part that I have a problem with...AFTER the contact when Rossi kept letting it drift out pushing him into the kitty litter. He had 1st either way...didn't have to do that. |

| Re: First round of MotoGP *SPOILER* Sorry, but I lost a lot of respect for Rossi after that race. Sete has a right to his line. Rossi came in too hot on the inside, RAN INTO Sete, ran him off the track, and wheelies to the finish line like nothing happened. That's BULLS#IT! |

When Sete ran into him, Rossi stood his bike up to fend off the impending crash, and that is what caused him to run wide. |

Rossi stood it up and waited to turn until he was in the dirt...as soon as Sete was off, Rossi flicked it back in. |

Yeah, yeah, yeah, what he said. At least we can complain about the real thing now and not test or practice sessions that had certain riders atop the field. Since we all have our own opinion......Rossi should be banned from racing FOREVER .....that way some others can enjoy victory. |

| Re: First round of MotoGP *SPOILER* If you look at the tape, it clearly shows Rossi entering along the same line Hayden was using in that corner...so it it's possible he just could not achieve maximum braking while slipping on the tears and just drove it in too deep....

For 2 riders to be side by side in the last corner and to bump, one has to be an ass and the other is the hero. Give me a friggin break. They were racing. Gibby's The sportsman he always has been and Rossi is no different. Pushing %110 don't make you a cheater. I say congrats to both for making one hellava race for me to watch. If you don't like this stile of racing maybe some of you guys should watch drag racing instead. | Finally something that makes sense---watch the "pass" a few times---G---aint a victim of anyone but himself---"my shoulder hurtz" |

Close racing is one thing; what happened in that last corner was another. | Ummm heres a bonafied racer that would NOT agree with you. The best racers on this board are "barely top ten" in their respective AMATURE classes--these guys are racing for millions, if you think your "run-of-the-mill" club racer wouldnt do this w/millions at stake you are sadly mistaken. Its funny how everyone thinks that the outcome was so "predictable". Sure its easy "after the fact" saying that Rossi did it intentionally--what if he went down.
I think the "predicatbility" evrybody is really pissed about is that Rossi could have passed G whenever he wanted to, apparently maybe even two or three times, he intentionally hangs back to pass G at his whim--pretty funny how jacked all the Honda dudes get.
I like Nicky, but frnakly I am tired of watching him CHOKE in 3rd place.
It was a "race" NO rules were broken, and it is HIGHLY debatable who ran into who--
