| Who'll take Portugal? After the wait of nearly a century (felt like) for the first round, the gods have gifted us with another round the weekend after the first. So, after the Rossi/Gibernau show that was Jerez, what's gonna happen this weekend? Will Sete grow a pair and give Rossi back , what he dishes out? Or has Rossi won the mind game and the season already?
Will CEII resurect himself after the piss poor effort of Jerez, backing up his post-test times by putting on the podium? Or will he be looking for an all new set of excuses? Will Biatchi snap out of it, and be ANYWHERE all weekend? Can Hayden keep up without chewing gravel, or is Dorna adding 11 secret herbs and spices to the traps and temptation is just too much?
I rekon Colin has it sorted and will hopefully stick with what's working and just f'kin race it, not look for more **** to go wrong. So I'm picking my head up out of the basket, sewing it back on and re-placing it on the chopping block yet again. I think Rossi has Sete head fukt already, BUT if Gib can keep focussed, he'll come back in a big way this round, trying to show Rossi he ain't licked yet.
CE
Sete
Rossi is my picks (......... for the dummy's this is NOT who I WANT to see win, it's who I'm Tipping) |

I hope Sete takes it to another level and beats Rossi at his own mental game. And I hope Nicky stays on the bike this time. |

Hopefully Sete will return the favour and we will have a VERY interesting season of racing on our hands |

Nicky looked good till he threw it away at Jerez, he should look good this weekend. |

| Re: Who'll take Portugal? I just want Hayden to podium. Here's hoping he can keep it on two wheels. Rossi is just too good at what he does to let someone else win. I think he'll do the same thing he did in Jerez, follow for the whole race then make his move with a few laps left. |

| Re: Who'll take Portugal? I think now that there is so much drama Rossi will want to prove a point. I think he'll lead from lap one and never even be challenged... unless Biachi takes him out as he's being lapped! |

Unless Val & Sete crash out.
Then it's

2 Melandri
3 Max 6 seconds back

3 Max 6 seconds back | Just remember, I never said Max 6 seconds in front, in back or where in the overall order. I just said: Max by 6 seconds . . . |

Realisticly... Rossi will take it. He may be an even match now that he is on the Yamaha, but he beats everyone mentally. Apart from Sete, I doubt anyone else gets to the grid and thinks that they can win it from Rossi unless misfortune happens to him.
Either way, I'll be cheering and drinking a few pints |
