| Need help watching GP..... Ideas? Well I've never been much to watch the GP races but I've always wanted to. Just never seem to have the time nor wanted to pay the extra money to get the race channels. To say the least I'm way behind in the sport. Is there anyway to see somewhat recent races I've missed (Spain & Portugal)? I'm going to be moving here in three weeks and the cable is disconnected so I won't be able to see any races that are upcoming for a while. Once I do get moved into my new place I going to spoil myself and pay the extra money to see the races. I don't know if anyone records the races, maybe I could borrow the tape/DVD for a week. I don't know if that is one of those no no things to do or not. I wouldn't be reproducing it, just watch it and return it. Any ideas? |

| Re: Need help watching GP..... Ideas? Wouldn't it be like $6 or $7 to ship a tape back and forth? The sport pack is what? $9 a month. And you get 2 or 3 race weekends per month. Insn't subscribing to the sports pack then canceling at the end of the season cheaper?

| Re: Need help watching GP..... Ideas? I can't do the online thing (I have dial-up) nor would I want to if I could. My setup as I have it wouldn't make watching it that fun. As for getting the race package. I'm going to do that once I get to my new house and setup the cable or satellite. With my cable setup as it is now (and about to be disconnected) It would be a lot more than $9. I have the basic basic cable ($8.95 a month) and I would have to add the upgrade package (another $39) then I could add a race package (another $9). I'm not wanting to do the shipping or whatever possible solution permanently. I just want to catch the last two races and possibly the upcoming two or three. I know I'm difficult. |

| Re: Need help watching GP..... Ideas? I have the last two saved on my comp. I could burn a disk and send it to you. My plan for this and future years is to get them all online and burn them whole seasons onto cd's or maybe eventually dvd's so I can watch them again whenever.
Heck you are moving very close to me in a few weeks so once you are here I could even bring the disks right to you... Good luck with the move. If you need any help don't hesitate to drop me a line. later.

- have a local friend tape the races.
- go to a bar/sports bar & watch the races. |

Hell I could burn them onto a cd and mail them to you today if you wanted to see them soon... They will play on Winamp or Windows Media Player. Not like the cd and mailing them would cost me much of anything. Let me knwo if you want me to send them to you or if you just wanna wait till after you move. |
