| Re: Honda Racing Personally, I don't follow the 600 Class very closely so I can't say, but with the litre bikes, the competition is furious. Agree??
I mean, every year each manufacturer is making changes and upgrades to try to out-do the other. You have the R-1, the 'Blade, the Gixxer and the ZX-10 all in deep competition for the "Win-on-Sunday, sell-on-Monday" store. How many classes can they keep that up in?? Don't forget, for every dollar they put into their racing support, you will pay your share of that when you buy a new bike, and there's only so much to go around..
Look at years ago when the Suzuki division of the J. A. Pan company was supporting the 600, the 750 and the TLR for racing classes. They dropped the TLR for obvious reasons. there was no way they could cpompete with the 'Duc's, so they concentrated on two classes. Now, the competition may be so fierce, they may only want to push the main bankbook at the 600's.
Then again, maybe I'm blowing air out my arse!!! |

What it does do however is make our bikes so much better! Trickle down... The technology per dollar in a modern 600 cannot be touched! |

Then again, maybe I'm blowing air out my arse!!! | Suzuki in AMA Matt M is domoinating In WSB the 1krr is no where in copmpetion from what I've seen in the past couple races. Jake Z & M Dihamel are now on there own W/HONDA USA. |

Mind you it is a newer bike. we'll have to see what honda comes out with this year. any pics yet BTW??? |
