Re: Mladin speaks out part 1

Mladin Link

My favorite quote from this article, 'There's a lot of people out there complaining and to me it's good. They aren't focusing on their own objectives and trying to win a championship. They are more focused on why Mat Mladin is going faster than them and all the excuses that go with it. I was faster than 'em on a 750, so now I'm faster on a 1000. Big deal.'

I'm not a fan but he does make a point. He beat the twins on a Gixxer 750. Everyone really likes to about him but he can ride.

I agree other racers should consentrate on their own biusiness. But lets be serious for a minute. NONE of the factory teams are running 100% legal. They all know it and they don't callenge because it's not politically correct.

I'm callin it right now, if Eboz gets the new ZX10R and it is on an even playing field as Mladin's bike and he doesn't get taken out by that asshole Yates like he was this year at Laguna, then EBoz will be the AMASuperbike champ next year....I think Mladin is an excellent rider, but I think Eboz is technically better....just my opinion...

Re: Mladin speaks out part 1

He's also very convienently forgetting history.
He occasionally beat some of the v-twins on his 750, but b1tched his ass off every race, making excuse after excuse.
Sure, he's a better racer than some, but once he loses the performance edge again, he'll be back to the whining.
Sorry, guys, but I disagree that he is the greatest racer out there. And mladin is the one in for a big surprise when the other 1000s come in.
He acquired his first title without winning a single race, and only due to a complete prick move on B.Boz, denying it all and laughing about almost sending Ben to the hospital. Then he whines about not seeing the ambulance that EVERYONE else on the track saw and avoided without incident.
His second title did come with a few wins, but had Nicky not made a rookie mistake (his first year on a SuperBike) and waited one second longer to pull out of the draft at Daytona that year, he would have had the title. Mladin was getting his ass kicked that year, too, but unfortunately was more consistent.
His third title was really the only one I think could be counted as legit. Sure, Honda was having problems the first few races of the year, but mladin was riding well also. Oh, and what happened once Honda figured out what was grenading the bikes? That's right, no more mladin wins. And a sh1tload of whining out of his mouth.
Then last year. Getting his @ss handed to him by everyone, including his teammate Yates, but crying about how his bike was an uncompetitive piece of sh1t.
Also for the first two titles, Miguel was kicking his ass, when he wasn't in the hospital and Miguel was having a hard time adjusting to the RC51 from the RC45. Had Miguel stayed healthy, matty would not have won either year. Had the Hondas been sorted the third year, same story.
One other thing: Take any of those years and apply the WSC points scale. No titles for little matt.
Dean Adams has his lips so tightly wrapped around mladin's d1ck that he makes him sound like some kind of dominating SuperBike God. He's not.
I can't wait to hear his whining excuses next year when he doesn't finish one race on the podium.

*cough* bull$#### *cough*

Mladin is a worm. Good rider but still a worm. He bitched and bitched and bitched whenever he wasn't winning. And now talks $hit about others whining. Whatever. Hope that worm gets his a$$ handed to him every damn race next year. I put him in the same category as Hopkins, woulnd't piss on his gums if they were on fire, that is speaking of them both as a person, not a rider.

Mat can definately ride - and when he's on top of his game he's hard to beat. He also calls things as he sees them - I respect that and he often has quotes that have me lmao.

BUT he also says a LOT of stupid ####. And as for the complaining comment... I can still hear him bitching about the RC51's when he was on the 750 last year.

True. Plus he is still bitching about him not winning those races where he lost the tire. If he hadn't pushed so hard he wouldn't have lost them. Yates didn't lose them.

Who said that in this thread? *I don't think he is the greatest at all. *In fact I I think EBoz is the best superbike rider in AMA currently. *I can't stand Mladin, I think he's a bitch, but he can ride the out of a bike.

Edit: Also his championships are hard to ignore. You pointed out excuses for 2 of them right? Saying he only deserved one? I don't like the guy anymore than you do, but that sounds like some excuses.

IMHO, I think a lot of Mladin's...um...we'll call it 'spite' stems from him working so hard to get where he is. I think Eric, Nicky, et al have more pure talent, but no one outworks Mladin. Not making excuses for him, but that's how I view his attitude.

He's a prick simple as that. He's still whining about tires. Tire management is part of racing so quit whining about the tires. I'd laugh if he burned his tires up the last couple of races lost it.. Can't wait till next year.

It sure would be nice to see Eboz get his due. It seems like everytime he has been close, he got the shaft in some sort of fashion. I remember the 600cc championship a couple of years ago when Hacking and Kletus punked him. You could see the disappointment on his face, sad. It's amazing how competitive he's been on the relic.

Re: Mladin speaks out part 1

All I have to say..... there are some guys who are after a championship and also works well with his fellow racers. Then there are guys who only care about themselves.

Walk through the paddock and you will clearly see who is who:

Guys who only care about themselves

Mladin
Yates
Roberts
Goebert

Was talking to Greg White and he asked Mladin a question and as Mladin walked by he told Greg to go F$ck himself. I asked him what happened and he said that Dave D. asked him if he wanted to make an announcement about his wife having a baby.... He got pissed and said he would not interview with Speed. The dumb As$ stopped to interview with a local Fox channel... well guess what Fox owns.... Speed.

A little boy standing in line after superbike practice waited at the trailer for Roberts to sign a poster.... Roberts was sittign two feet from the kids looked at him laughed and walked in to his trailer.

Yates..... Well after the E Boz incident I have nothing more to say.

Go-Show is a little wishy washy..... he loves to interview, but is very stand offish with racers.

Guys who compete and also a class act

E Boz
Jake Zemke
Ben Spies
Jason Disalvo
Rich Oliver

The big one Jason Curtis.... he invited me in to his set up area and talked about his racing career and also set-up then asked if I wanted a tour of the trailer... it was awesome...

Didn't Yates act like he was doing snow angles in the track to get a red flag or something? Anybody remember that?

Kurtis was cool to me at Mid Ohio. Didn't have a pen on him so I suggested he borrow Ben Bostroms. He went out of his way to give me and autograph. I have no complaints.

Yes, but his bike was on the track as well. He was trying to get the corner workers to pull their heads out.

I was at V.I.R. last year and when E-Boz drafted past Mladdin at the finish line that punk bitch went straight to his trailer even though he got second. Poor sportsmanship to say the least, he got a resounding BOOOOOOOOOO from the crowd when they mentioned his name.

You gotta toss Miguel into the good guys pile. A friend took his son to get an autograph from Miguel and he took my buddy's son up into the trailer to do it. The kid is 10 years old and was loving the whole thing.

Zemke rocks. He is by far my favorite racer at the moment in the AMA. He goes out and gets the job done but doesn't have an attitude about it. And the thing with the hats just cracks me up!

Duhamel is a class act.......... he is awesome..

Another Great Guy... is Mike Hale... he is not racing like last year, but still a class act.

We bumped in to his wife and we talked for about an hour.. Went out for dinner with Mike Hale's family.... including daughter and just had a good time.
