| MotoGP in Cali... who's going? I am! I am!
I just booked my tix and hotel and have convinced work to pay for my airfare. I'll be there for all three days so if anyone wants to hook up, PM me before then (I'll be incommunicado until July 4).
So who else will be there? Do we already have a list? (if so, please just post the link) |

My company wouldn't pay for a free bag of peanuts on a flight. |

I suppose there will be ppl selling/scalping tickets at the event. Don't know if I can trust them. Never bought tickets off one these type of people before. Any opinions? |

Cal-Sportbike Track Days will be in booth #82, should be somewhere between turn 3 and the Ducati Island bridge. I'm hard to miss...6'3" with long hair and a beard...stop by and introduce yourselves! We're giving away a free track day at Laguna Seca (12/16) too! |

I'll be there, and have a extra 3 day admission ticket with grandstand seating for Saturday and Sunday. You can call my cell: 515-890-1272 if you want them. I will be flying out there Wed morning and will be camping at the track. All I want it face value back out of them.....roughly $215 total or $15 for Sat and $20 for Sunday grandstand seating.
Thanks

| Re: MotoGP in Cali... who's going? I guess the whining has already started. After riding the circuit on his scooter, Melandri is bitching about racing there. Shame, as I had him in third place. I guess we'll see how many others bitch after first practice.
Laguna's not perfect, but just grow a set and do your job. There are plenty of manly racers willing to do so. |

| Re: MotoGP in Cali... who's going? Who was it that stated that track knowledge at Laguna didn't mean anything, and that the usuals would be up front after a handful of laps in first practice?
Well, FP1 was broken up into two segments, and ex-AMA riders lead them both. Bayliss on his bottom rung Honda leading at the end of FP1? Nope, has nothing to do with track knowledge.
Bayliss, Hayden and Hopkins all under Bayliss' record lap there, the usuals still lagging.
Rossi will still make it to the front somehow, but Laguna knowledge is proving to be key at this point. |

| Re: MotoGP in Cali... who's going? Clipped from the press conference: Q What's it going to take for you guys to reel in Valentino Rossi?
EDWARDS: How long is the race here, 32 laps? Thirty-two perfect laps. How about that? I don't even know if that's enough, but that's what it's going to take.
HAYDEN: I think in any sport, you have a guy that comes along and sets the bar. Right now in motocross Ricky [Carmichael] came along, now Chad [Reed] and Bubba [Stewart] are trying to match him. Same way when [Michael] Jordan was in basketball. Right now Valentino just came along, and took our sport to a new level. We can sit here and make excuses, "oh, it's the team, it's the bike," whatever. Right now he's just making us look bad. He's won every race this y | |
