So now all we need is a transcript of a phonecall to said hotel offering the front desk clerks (and managers too) a decent cash sum paid in full within the hour for them to bump longstanding reservations.

Talk about a bee in the bonnet...

*shrug* $85/night in San Jose is better than $300night at a motel 8.
