IOM TT

I haven't seen hide-nor-hair of an indication that it will be shown on Speed. Anyone got the scoop on when and if it will be shown? Seems like last year they were pretty timely with showing it.

Pete -

This morning a guy who works for me told me he got the 2005 IOMTT in a 500 mg video file from BBC on something called bit torrent. ( probably some illegal file sharing thing ) he gave me a USB flash drive with it but I apparently don't have the right codec to open it. Downloaded Win Media 10, still no image.

So it's out there somewhere in cyber land

"You mean you don't like bikes and beer, guns and girls", yeah but the 11ty gears and going through 10 of them mid hair-pin etc is just so insulting it ain't funny. You'd think they'd get someone who had some f'kin clue about them to guide them on this sorta ****. Same with Mission Impossible...........christ, how many gears does a chook chaser have?

That's way too technical for me to get into, so I guess I'm relegated to waiting for a (legal) DVD to come out.

Re: IOM TT

OK, for what it's worth, I downloaded divx, and got to see an hour of a BBC special pertaining to the superbike and supersport races, which have apparently taken over for the old F1 class ( and one other, can't remember) . The same photography and camera angles we're used to, brief history and talks with the primary racers. The riders are awesome as usual.

Bit Torrent and the client sites are peer-to peer, but this was a 'free' public broadcast- if you happen to live in that area. The guy said it took 20 minutes or so to download 500 MGS.
