Yep just watched it live on motogp.com. Awesome! Watching I felt like I was watching the race. Very exciting.

I still think Rossi will win, but I have a feeling that Nicky will challenge.

Yeah, they said something about it being a pre-race ritual when he did it while riding the bike out onto the track.

He's always on softer tire compounds. I htink he probably has great grip for the first 2 thirds then has to nurse the bike home a bit on nuked tires.

Rossi, OTOH always seems to run full-hard compounds, which perform better later in the race.

I too think Rossi will find a way to win it. Either that or he will crash out trying to take the lead. Nicky has been fastest all weekend, except early Friday when he was second. Today his race setup times, which is what we usually hear about from Irvine's fans, were ~1.5 seconds faster than Rossi's.
I hope he stays on that pace all day tomorrow without fading or crashing. We may even see the second best American in the series up on the box with him, but Roberts and Hopkins have that handicap on the Suzuki so it will be tough.
