| Re: Post GP race thoughts... Rossi was riding with everything he had through the middle third of the race and edwards still got by him. Rossi, I can say, in Q1 and early in the race, was giving it 10/10ths, no doubt about it. But he just didn't have anything for nicky. NO one did. And colin had the fastest lap during the race, a 1.23.something... Rossi wasn't even close to that while nicky responded repeatedly to both rossi and edwards closing the 2 second gap he had.
These conspiracy theories are funny. I agree, too much WWF for some people. Hayden was a god this past weekend, no one could touch him, his consistency from lap to lap was crazy! It was like 2002 all over again, as if he was on the big RC and everyone else was on a I4 750... It wasn't even close. |

#36 | | | Re: Post GP race thoughts... ccwilli3 has it right! Val was trying very hard. Friday, he was all over the place, and just couldn't get the track down.....especially the corkscrew. I think Val did a great job in the race for such a short time on the track, but Nicky wasn't going to let anyone get close to his victory. In one of the interviews Val admitted to trying to get a tow from Nicky to learn the track, guess that's why Nicky was in & out of the pits quite a bit during practice
All you Nicky haters take note......Nicky is determined to be on top, and will get the job done!!!

I'm sure there will be different interpretations...should be interesting. |

Any question that these are the top roadracers in the world?
3 guys each run 35 laps and all within 2 seconds of each other. Unbelievable. |

| Re: Post GP race thoughts... Okay, so one of the most determined passers of all time was held up by a "ghost"....then closed the gap....but didn't go around... puhleeeze....
He wasn't happy about the team order, so he played with the gap to prove a point...plain and simple...
