Winton rnd of Oz SBK

This weekend is the Winton Rnd of the Oz SBK series. Pissin rain apparently, Go Show has just put in the fastest time at the end of FP1, and if it keeps raining, could just be a surprise winner. Time will tell.

Supersport and after the first FP, the top 3 are all guys on bikes that use the Arata exhausts (supplied by me) and I map their bikes as well. Well done guys. Who knows, I may get SOME credibility on here one day. Haha Then again.............

Gobert was the fastest man on the track yesterday and they're about to head out for their first qual now. But track is nearly dry and the ss class looks a little different now that it is so, we'll see with the sbk.

My bike is getting fixed this week from my off on Anzac day (funily enough it wasn't too far from Winton, So I've got half a plan of getting up there on Sunday to check things out. Only problem is there is a wine appreciation night going on so I'll have to see how I pull up after that.

Re: Winton rnd of Oz SBK

I was hoping Gobert would do well but he slid back to around about his usual place in the pack (Well maybe a lttle better) 6th in the first race and DNF in the second.

What a shitty weekend weather wise, changing from wets to slicks to wets to slicks etc (Bloody victoria! ) Although amazingly my rider ( Jungleboy Racing sponsored Steve Manning) got 3 dry races in between with a 6th in the first race (after outbraking himself in an ambitious charge into second place), 1st in the second and 1st in the 3rd race! extending his lead to 57 points in the Formula Xtreme future champions series

Re: Winton rnd of Oz SBK

sounds like a good effort.....didn't get to the track until 3:45pm on sunday so missed most of the racing except for the last three races which were good and I saw both saturated and dry racing to give everyone a better idea of how dynamic the weather was.

Due to my late arrival and considering steves races were over I didn't think I'd be able to find you JB so saved myself the long walk. Might see you at Phillip island...
