Premature Celebration....

And you thought Biaggi's Brno wheelie was impressive...

Re: Premature Celebration....

I don't know who that is, but I hope the team he rides for gets fined and he looses his ride and is made to apologize to the rest of the grid (a few of which he nearly took out in this total asshat move).

Oh, and I certainly hope he isn't scored for that finish unless it's negative points . . .

Had a wiggle and small incident right before and he stood up.

Bizarre one. Too bad that happened, obivously a very talented rider. His right/left turn into the chicane was brilliant.

Again goes to my earlier suggestion that crashes get negative points with added 'bonus' when you take someone with you at race events.

A few people I used to race with did stuff like that until someone (who shall remain nameless) was alongside passing one of these clowns when said clown stood up and this unidentified rider decided to show him his boot up close and personal . . . about the same results as this clip . . .

nope, look closer . . . he's looking at the rider behind him (a rather well known gesture).

It was not the final lap, and I don't think it was done on purpose.

In the dirt 'those' kind would get a downshift provided

You really need to watch the original (first) part of the clip. He clearly does an "I see you" and then gets caught out . . .

Since I don't speak the lingo, I don't know what lap they were on, but the results are the same even if it was the first lap. There is nothing behind you in a race that requires you to look there period. (Otherwise, they would use mirrors like the cars).

I wonder if he thought he had sensors plugged into his datalogger to see what kind of lift his leathers generate.

I guess he's not aware of the fact that it's a bit easier to wheelie the bike when standing on the pegs

Were you satisfied with the result after you showed him your boot?

I just seen this on SPEEDS showing of the 24hr race at Magny course. I would be suprised if he was mocking as this happened at the end of the FIRST lap of the 24 hr race!!!!! If he was at that stage of the race, he really is an a$$hat.
