Who the hell is Tony Elias?
I have a hunch that Biaggi will get on the podium. |

One good aspect of the track is the run-off areas. 90% of the corners have a class leading 40-mile run-off section unhindered by bothersome, old-fashioned items such as grandstands or spectators.

| Re: Qatar '05 From the war-torn slums of Europe to the rich pastures of the Stateside super-continent this is me R.Mamola esq preaching you the Gospel of Liberty live from my podium of freedom mid-pitlane boulevard. It's big-up time folks. For surely. Now when the Statesideless people over here in Baghdad, or wherever we are, decided to build a racetrackaway they knew I guess for sure that they'd need one of Uncle Sam's nephews to help shift the balance away from the Euro-style filth in favour of the Golden Eagle.
So, just over a year ago, I was out enjoying a meal at a top restaurant when my cellphone rang. It was some Arab geezer wanting me to impregnate their trackaway with some good old-fashioned, apple pie based American DNA. Before you could say "883" I'd left my unfinished Happy Meal and was heading out on the next American Airline trip to Iran...or wherever.
Upon arriving I saw where the designers had gone wrong. Uncle Sam's soldiers have only just freed this country of the tyranny and already they're losing the democratic ethnics needed to build a raceway. Off-cambered corners. Anti-counter clockwise direction. No burger joint. There were a list of felonies as long as the Pasa-Interstate. It was a real mess for sure. And still is. They asked me "Baldy, what can we do to push the constitution of the circuit towards the ethics shown by Uncle Sam and his righteous brigade?" Luckily I had a plan. That plan was to encourage as much of the sand around the circuit onto the track. This would give it the feel of a flat-track oval…without the oval.
It worked too. Check out last year's winner - Colin Edwards. He may have been forced by the political wrangling of a cheating European team to follow his team-mate but it was obvious who the most valuable player on the field was on that day for sure. Furthermore the Italian front-pushing scumbucket Rossi, who personally I have nothing against, couldn't get to grips, literally, with the rear-end leading style needed for a circuit that holds the constitution. He even tried cheating more than ever. A phoney world champion for sure.
Here in Kazakhstan, or whatever, I guess there will be two stand out players leading the offensive. Those players are young Nicky Hayden for surely.
Now young Nicky was brought up on the sweet Louisiana ovals so obviously understands the meaning of 'running the hotshoe deep in an anti-ribbon drift-up fuel-out rear-forcing spinner whilst counter-siding the leg-lock corner-chute speedaway' like style. Others, I fear, won't.
From his body English whilst running the draft out you can see for sure that John Hopkins, or Hoppers as I like to call him, is in his bubble-zone keeping it classy San-Diego. Never one to forget to keep it Stateside Hoppers will again be doing Team USA Suzuki Blue and White Sox proud by letting the rear drift out to the edge of the island whilst keeping his wheels firmly inline.
Can't wait to catch up with him live on the grid.
Over the other side of Team USA sits one man who has almost a knuckhead like legendary status. I talk, of course, of King Kenny Junior Roberts. Now I've heard some speculation on the paddock sidewalk that Junior, as I like to call him, will be leaving Team USA. I find this offensive and a felony against our democracy. I think people should take a time out and remember all that this son of a legend has given us over the years. Indeed the only way I can see Junior, as I like to call him, leaving the dominant Team Suzuki USA is if some sort of father-son mult-eye legend linkup team can be forged between himself and his father. Now that would be one hell of a team for surely.
So, with the spirit of Stateside, I predict my big-up big-three. 1) Young Nicky Hayden 2) Col 3) Hoppers for sure MVP: Junior as I like to call him
This was Randy Mamola. That was my big up. I kept it Stateside. You should too. Randy #2

| Re: Qatar '05 Anybody listen to Hayden after the race? He said he was slow as hell all weekend and didn't want to let his boys down. So he took his slow ass out and could only come up with a podium and a track lap record.
Does this guy ever say the wrong thing?
