For the love of "PETE" man, I can understand if your English is broken but at least throw in a comma and a period here and there and capitalize letters. |

First of all, remember it was Rossi who brought him to the team above everyone else. 2nd, Nicky is all of 8 points ahead of CE but Nicky is doing a good job? Bwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahaha.
Let the comedy continue. |

| Re: Chris Vermulen In Moto GP Like LTL said, Edwards is the ultimate B rider. Just like Irvine, he poses no threat whatsoever to your primary rider, yet cruises around like a sissy grabbing points to help secure team and manufacturer points, all the while mouthing off and grabbing headlines for your sponsors. Edwards sealed his career's fate when he signed on as the B rider to Gibbers, and put the nail in the coffin by following Rossi. Edwards has less of a chance of winning a MotoGP title than Jr. has of winning a second. Time for his sunset into obscurity, just like Irvine and unfortunately Barrichello.
Funny how he has finished two more races than Hayden and three more than Melandri, yet won't finish the championship within 15 points of either.
Riding around in the back of the pack finishing minutes behind the leaders can only get you so far. Taking chances and crashing out sucks, but anyone would rather have an aggressive rider capable of finishing up front or a couple seconds back as a lead rider than a backmarker.
Too bad Hayden decided he was close enough to make a play for second the first time out. He would be more like 50 points ahead of Edwards and have second in the clear by now, as just sitting back and settling for third by riding like a Texas Tortoise would have changed the outcome of the following few races for him as well. |

| Re: Chris Vermulen In Moto GP hey I'm a big Pedrosa fan but I know he doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell at coming even close to winning next year.
It'll be pretty cool for Rossi to say he was the only one to win on a 990cc bike. Of course thats assuming he'll win it next year and lets face it, who's gonna stop him.

Yeah , well Yamaha obviously dont' think so, so whatever, you obviously know the ins and outs of what goes one etc etc. So explain Edwards being the Number 1 factory rider next year and Rossi having his own satellite team? yeah, he's got nuthin'. You're right. lol |

| Re: Chris Vermulen In Moto GP Uh oh the sook is firing up
Firstly whatever that crack pipe he is smoking...must be good.
Pedrosa in the past month has been sh1t house, Stoner is all over him like a rash, he will have a VERY steep learning curve, I can't see him cracking the top 10, seriously.
Back on topic CV will be the new light at the end of the tunnel for Honda, way ahead of Pedrosa.
Edwards is a gun, his tussle with Bayliss in the WSC in 02' is still the best racing I have ever seen. I still back him for #2 at the end of the year, Nicky is just a real shinning star at the mo' and taking the gloss of what has been a good year for Colin, of course he can and will do better in the future. It's like being Michael Jordans team mate, you will always look B grade next to a great champion without comparison!
Carry on all... |

You're right. lol | Rossi is going to another team because of the tobacco sponsorship that he hates...it has nothing to do with Yamaha. Yamaha would be foolish if they were to make Rossi the second rider and focus on Edwards...Rossi will still get the best bike Yamaha can give him |

There's no question he's on the #1 factory Yamaha with his same crew, etc.

| Re: Chris Vermulen In Moto GP BTW, in all seriousness, anyone who is in MotoGP "belongs" in MotoGP. These guys, even the ones fighting for 15th place, have world-class talent dripping out of every orifice. Maybe some guys who COULD compete there aren't there, but that doesn't mean the guys who DID make it don't deserve their rides.

CE is neither the schlub some make him out to be nor the Godoftwo wheels. He's a very talented, motivated rider who has probably peaked. If he'd learn to shut up he'd be universally respected.
Nicky is a potential Motogp Champion, if he can learn to manage his tires and opponents like the truly great riders -- Rossi and Doohan.
BTW, Nice cast, Bait-tech! |

BTW, Nice cast, Bait-tech! | Also even though Sete has often choked....emphasis on often...he does have the talent to beat Rossi and if he was a bit more consistent...and also not have a bit of bad luck he would have challenged Rossi for the title...I know that we werent even talking about S.G. but I thought I would throw that in... |

| Re: Chris Vermulen In Moto GP well, the team and bike wasn't spot on, but CV will be on the Suzuki next year in GP. Apparently after riding 2 races said "no way am I goin back to wsbk" and signed with Suzuki. Never thought I'd see him jump the Honda ship, but hope all goes well for him. Hopper "rekons" the Zook will be pretty good next year, so time will tell. |

| Re: Chris Vermulen In Moto GP It might actually be better for him to start on Suzuki; gives him a chance to learn the circuits but since he's on a crap bike there isn't so much pressure for him to win races. Maybe he can 'graduate' to a Honda after a year or 2. |
