Gibernau is riding like a man who wants his teeth knocked out. Strange he's so willing to knock fairings and elbows with everybody but Rossi. |

| Re: Phillip Island 05: SPOILER I have a question for all the geniuses that stated (and probably still mistakenly still believe) that Hayden didn't belong in MotoGP and should be fired:
Why in the hell is Edwards still there?
The Texas Tortoise has the same bike, access to all the same info, and Colin's sack suckers all overhyped how his riding style is so much like Rossi's ( ), yet he can't even hang in the same zip code with the Rossi - or Hayden or any other front runner.
Yet there was the NTAC that doesn't deserve his ride hanging right there at the front the entire race.
Colin's excuse book is far thicker than Biaggi's now. |

| Re: Phillip Island 05: SPOILER Well, If Nickey knew it or not, he threw the gantlet down pretty hard across Rossi's face. Did anyone see Rossi's expression as they panned away from Nickey at the interviews after the race?
Comments like, "Can't spot Rossi a second that close to the end of the race", "I wanted some more wins", "With only two more races left,..."
Rossi's face was a classic, "WTF!"

Christ those bikes are fast. Rossi is clearly in a class of his own. Edwards should go back to Supers and continue his rivalry with Bayliss. They provided some of the best racing Ive ever seen.
Hayden looked really good. I really thought he was gunna do Rossi over. Looked way more comfortable than Rossi, but just couldnt match him in the end. To Chris Vermulen. His first ride of the bike was on the Friday. To be as fast as he was is a true testament to his ability. A future World Champion for sure. |

Fighting for second? He'll be lucky to stay in the top five, even finishing every race while everyone ahead of him didn't. |

Then he crashes and the home crowd almost commited suicide it was that depressing.
Last I head it wasn't rider error and the team were scratching thier heads and wanted a closer look at thier telemetry data. The carbon fibre swing arm was cracked but that was likely caused by the whole launching pad thing. Anyone heard anything new about the cause of stoners off?
Still the footage of Alex De Angelis (No. 5) using Stoners rear wheel as a launching ramp and getting side ways in the air and still landing it pepped the crowd up a little. |

| Re: Phillip Island 05: SPOILER
Good race. I never thought Nicky looked as "in control" as Rossi...except when Rossi had that BIG tankslapper. Nicky looked like he was working the rear much harder than Rossi, lots more slides/wobbles. The whole time I was thinking, "wow, he's arrived".
I didn't think he'd win (unless Rossi gave it to him), but I was sure the kid would make it interesting.
Nicky is getting the confidence to ride like a champion and showing why he's worthy of being the #1 man at Honda.
CE? The guy rides the same settings as Rossi, is his teammate, and still can't get results. It's kinda sad, but he's fun to watch nonetheless. |

| Re: Phillip Island 05: SPOILER I watched the race from the Hayshed and Hayden looked much better than rossi through there. I could see them come out of Siberia, go thru the Hayshed then up over Lukey and Hayden just looked more comfortable. It may have been down to the bike. His bike was much more stable thru there. The switch from the left side to right side as they go thru the Hayshed is a good tell. Haydens bike nary moved, Rossi's was wiggling/slapping as it changed directions. |
