Bobby Keith, Tommy Chaplin and Jamie Worthington would probably object to the "senior" aspect (especially since GLRRA never had a seniors class and two of the three riders in the picture were in their early 20s at the time).
That was how the first 3 years of GLRRA were run. Every other event was held right in front of an AMA national and several of the National riders made it out and had a blast (that is whenever Kevin Graham and Larry Denning didn't show up

Similar to the CCS races at Daytona, except most of the AMA riders that ran the GLRRA events didn't pull off at the end to let the GLRRA regulars make some money. Rich Oliver was the only exception, but Randy Renfrow use to love it . . .
