WSBK Monza Possible Spoiler

So what did everyone think of Barros' performance this weekend at Monza? I thought he rode fantastic. I can't wait till he gets some more goodies for his bike to be a bit more of a threat. I really hope he can pull off a win this year. It was awesome to see him riding so well at a track he hasn't been on since the early 80's. Go Alex!

I've said it before, but I would love to see him on the Ten Kate bike. He's a far better rider than Toseland and Buggeridge are and would be able to keep much closer to the two Troys on it.
He may be old, but he's one of the "wasted talents". I mean if Colin and Hopkins can keep rides in GP, why can't Barros?

Barros was awesome. Crap weekend for Toseland... crash in race 1 and run out of fuel in 2.

Seeing him on a Ten Kate bike would be pretty sweet. I'm sure he'd be battling for the win every round.

For the win I'm not so sure. Bayliss on a Superbike Duc is just too solid. But I'm sure he'd be on the podium all the time, and at least be near the front.

Ok maybe not for the win but podiums every round for sure. Bayliss is rock solid on the Duc. It's funny cause they were talking about increasing the allowed cc's for them for next year, up to 1200cc I believe. With him doing so well it doesn't seem like a good call.

Barros did ride his butt off, after some really poor starts in both races. Haga looked awesome too, wringing every last bit he could out of that Yamaha just to try to hang with Bayliss, Corser and Barros. Toseland's crash was pretty ugly, as was the big pile-up at the start of race one. That's a pretty hairy first turn after the start!

I don't know how Toseland didn't go down when Kagayama did in race 1.

Pretty hard to qualify better than third with the Two Troys in the game.
Barros needs to launch better, though.

Certainly needs to work on his starts. I'd be more then willing to show him how for maybe some free trips to a few WSBK rounds of my choosing.

He would be back in his crypt by now, if not for the $$$ he owns Yahama for breaking his contract. IMHO His undead ways are working quite nicely on that Blade. As for his starts, 1000RR's still seem to be a biatches to get good launch with...
