| Re: Ruben Xaus' best Aaron Yates imitation What a prick.
COMPLETELY his damn fault. Too bad the other guy was a pussy, Xaus really deserved an ass kicking for that.
Then on TV with that smirk. |

| Re: Ruben Xaus' best Aaron Yates imitation Not really. Your thread has a link to the video, not just the still pics. And it isn't buried in another thread.
Typical of Xaus. Crashed again due to his own ****up, then blames someone else.
But since he's Spanish he'll just get a little slap on the wrist for it. Too bad that guy didn't get up and beat Xaus' sorry little whiney ass. That I would have loved to see. |

| Re: Ruben Xaus' best Aaron Yates imitation Someone needs to explain the basic rules of the road to this guy. The rider he hit had the corner and it was Xaus's responsibility to get around him without contact (or making the other rider change his line). The other rider held his line even though Deli Sandwich stood it up when he realized someone else was there. That was just a bonehead move on Xaus's part. |

| Re: Ruben Xaus' best Aaron Yates imitation It kinda looks to me like the other guy lost the front before any contact was made, but regardless, Xaus deserves a badass beat-down for what he did after the crash.
Anyone care to translate his post-race comments? |

No matter what happened there, Xaus ****ed up. Even if the guy was running a bit too tight, Xaus didn't give him any space to adjust his line. |

Unfortunately it didn't provide for the presence of the other rider mid corner. I'm guessing he felt he was carrying enough steam through the corner to beat the guy to the apex, but I would bet there was a bit of tunnel vision involved that precluded any adjustment once he commited.
Grattan's 10A is a great example of the wide entrance being faster, but at the expense of "greeting" someone mid corner who is taking the inside path. |

| Re: Ruben Xaus' best Aaron Yates imitation Maybe I should have just Yates-ed or Xaus-ed that lapped rider instead of going off track myself...

| Re: Ruben Xaus' best Aaron Yates imitation No excuses this is racing, these things will happen regardless of who is at fault-The true determining factor here is how should have Xaus conducted himself. It is disappointing really specially at this level of competetion. There are many other riders who would have conducted themselves properly-not throw a tantrum or resort to a physical altercation. |
