| Re: GREAT EBoz interview MP3 Eric 'clarifies' a few things regarding the interview:
'After reading the latest posting on Cycle News concerning my interest level for Kawasaki's MotoGP project, I'd like to add to the subject. First and foremost, from the time we heard about Kawasaki going to MotoGP, I've been extremely excited and anxious to become a part of it. I had some initial misconceptions on how difficult it would be to organize a team and prepare a bike at the highest level of racing. The team certainly has some hurdles, but with the time I've had on the sidelines the past few weeks (and since my interview with Muffin), I've had more time to look into their progress and understand and see the improvements that the team has made and how quickly their learning curve is progressing. I believe that I could be an important piece of the puzzle in helping the team and the bike get to the front - where it belongs. Kawasaki has always been a front runner in motorcycle racing and I know that MotoGP will be no exception. It's going to take some hard work and dedication, but I believe absolutely the team has the ability to do it. And if that happens, it would be fun to race with the World Superbike and MotoGP boys, as well as continue my duel with Nick [Hayden].
'Although just getting the chance to ride the bike would be a dream come true. All that horsepower would be more than enough to put a smile on my face.
'I do feel that I have some unfinished business here in the States and would absolutely love to finally win the AMA title, not only for myself, but also for all my fans who have been cheering me on for the past four years, and for Kawasaki who has been with me the whole way. But wouldn't it be even cooler to do it in MotoGP?' |
