I don't like Mladin much, but found that article to be spot on. Kinda flies in the face of ol' Dean Adams as well with his stupid poll a few days ago and whining about the issue.

Sounds to me like the first couple paragraphs were just an attempt to justify their (illegal) use of traction control.

I just saw a thing where he claims to ride on the street quite a bit. Dunno if it's true, but Mladin doesn't seem to be a bullshitter.

I love the article. It's SO true about the fuel, and cost of racing. What he said about support classes and salary caps is spot freakin' on.

yep, not a big Mladin fan either...but he doesn't come off to me as much of a BS'er....I really like the article...I found it to spot on and think he hit the nail on the head....I can appreciate and respect a man that is man enough to admit when he is getting his teeth kicked in.....gotta respect that...

Mladin is the real deal. However, for the first time since 2002 when he was still on the 750 and nicky was on the RC, he is getting challenged. And not just on a few race weekends, every weekend spies has it for him, and in droves... Spies, barring something weird or a freak crash, is the new hotness in ama superbike. How long until he 'moves on' and we are stuck with mladin beating miguel every weekend?

Mladin at Barber after he fell was one of the most incredible combinations of man and bike that I have ever seen. He sailed through the field, including Duhammel.
