Re: Estoril

How many races leftover? I'm curious to see how far Nicky will make it up this year. He's not too far off from the next spot in front of him.

That's your NASCAR mentality talkin.....

I wish I were skilled enough to consider 9th as the being in the back.....my hat's off to you. Maybe you should consider a career in MotoGP....?

Re: Estoril

after the announcers mentioneded that Rossi was in contract negotiations I really think he picked the 13th lap to pass on. He wanted to lead the most laps but he also wanted max to crash Would have given odds that he would have too...

Watching him push both tires through the turn shortly after passing max had me jumping off the couch! Rossi is sick! That was total domination after 13 laps of pressure, all of which I'm sure he called beforehand to the honda suits... nice

Never seen a Nascar race, sorry. Well, none of them were on the teli. And please tell me what you get for 9th place, a cookie? There are usually 2 packs of riders at the front in GP, the lead 2-3, then another pack of 3-4, everyone else is usually 15-30 seconds back and has no shot at the front.

Thanks for the explanation of what defines success in MGP.....

Someday I would like to hear about that storied racing racing career of yours so I can understand the dues you've paid to become such an insightful critic.....

Sorry...just get sick of folks that haven't walked the walk pontificating about racing and racers.....

Rant Off....

9th in that group is pretty damn good for a rookie MotoGP rider. Sure, the RCV is the best bike, but you have to take track knowledge into account. All the others above him with the exception of Bayliss have been on these tracks before.
