You also have to remember that the Honda sponser Repsol is spanish, so they would LOVE to have poddy win over Nicky!! HRC does not care as long as it is a HRC, and Repsol probably put pressure, and said, make sure Poddy wins!!!

And Repsol and Honda are out there to advertize their products and that works best when you win, something they are very very used to and also something they have been denied for 2 years in the row. Sorry all, but to me these conspiracy theories sound as stupid as last year's big hit "Michelin castrates everyone but Rossi" (a melancholic and sad song if I may add, always put me to tears ) by The Turtoise Fanboy Philharmonics...

That's because the song was written in D minor, the saddest of all keys.

Re: Spoiler Sepang

All bs aside...

Pod-Bot is a world champion and he showed why he will be the champ at the highest level. I was hoping Stoner would've been Rookie of the Year, but that aint happening.

HRC is HRC and they will do what-ever they want to which ever of their riders they want. That is their history and that is the way they will always be. If they want Nicky to race on a new frame and give it to him after the warm-up session they will. They do that is in all aspects of racing they are involved in. Reason why McGrath, Carmicheal, Rossi, etc.. all left. HRC is owns you and they determine how you're career will pan out.

Nicky is good, but to be off the pace two races in a row when he has been the most consistant rider over the last two and half seasons? Clutch issues last time and a worrisome clutch this time? Doesn't take a genius to figure out money and politics are rearing their ugly heads.

It was a fantastic race and really have to give Pod-bot all the credit in the world. That boy is pretty damn good.

HRC beter watch out! If they can't decide who should be #1 or have both riders compete (Nicky/Pedro) with eachother, Rossi will just pass both of them and win the championship. It should be Nicky/Pedro versus Rossi, instead it's Nicky vs. Pedro.

You're taking way too much away from Rossi, Capirossi, and Pedrosa.

Nah, I probably should've braketed my comments. I meant that all BS aside, Pod-Bot is for real. What he did this past weekend was nothing short of amazing.

Now for HRC and Nicky. I want to take nothing away from Loris and Vale, but Nicky has given them fits all year. Mugello as an example. But money is money, and Pedorsa is now 22 points off of Nicky and Repsol has been pissed in recent years and threatened to pull it's sponsership if HRC didn't get a spanish rider. Sete refused the spot because he was loyal to Gresini (sp) and Telefonica as a sponser. Barros was no substitute and Repsol wasn't happy. Is it that difficult to draw a conclusion?

RRWANTR - dude you're just pissed because you've been pullin for CEII. At least when he's back in WSBK next year, we can all cheer for him again. Now just go and grow some hair....

I say BS. There's no way with Rossi right on their heals and running well the last few races (heck if he hadn't had the mechanicals think where he'd be)that HRC or Repsol would sabotage either one of the riders. All it would take is one front end tuck (that's never happened with the Pod has it), mechanical DNF, tire chunk etc etc by the POD if they held Nicky back and Rossi would have the title. The title is more important to them at this point imho.

I cheer for him no matter where he finishes. He's a standup guy with a good amount of talet. imho. If he's in MotoGP, WSBK, BSB, AMA or wherever else, I'd still pull for him unlike the usual bandwagoners.

As usual you have to resort to personal attacks when your pov is disputed. I could stoop to that childish level but will refrain.

I am a child. To that I will agree. Nothing meant as a personal attack, just playing around.

You have great and valid points. If Rossi hadn't had the DNF's this year. He'd be leading without a doubt. I think we've seen the limitations of the M1 this year. But, he's had the problems. Pedorsa is doing this year what many knew he would by next year, esp with the bikes being more like 250's in size and ridability. Why else would HRC give Nicky a new frame right now. They had time during the Bruno testing? In previous years, it was never a matter of major component changes on race weekends. HRC gave new parts after races where there was a test following.

It's all a matter of speculation anyway and it's fun to stir the turds once in a while. We all get suspicious when our riders start sucking wind all of a sudden.

Maybe it's just me but if you're consistently at or near the top (giving you more championship points), aren't you better? If the other riders were better than Hayden, they'd consistently finish higher than him. He's got more points because he consistently finishes higher than everyone else. If he finished first in every race, he wouldn't be better, he'd be dominant.
