| Re: Phillip Island results *Spoiler* What happen to Pedro? If he starts that low on the grid, good luck scoring points. If Rossi also starts that low, Nicky has a good chance to increase his point lead. I'm going out on a limb here, but i think Sete might finish on the podium. |

Shame he's on such a nice machine... if he can't win on the Ducati, it's time to take a break. I'd rather have Biaggi back than have to watch Jibs fold so sadly every week. My bet is he runs at the front for a while, until the commentators utter the fatal words "could this mark Gibernau's return to the podium?", after which he will go motocrossing or run out of fuel.

--- D | They are reporting that it's actually his broken left big toe that is causing him more pain than the knee. Try to shift with a broken big toe...
Looks like Dr. Costa is going to have to make another great cocktail.
Go Nicky!!! |

Go Nicky!!! | That actually brings up something that's been on my mind lately... what are the FIM's or MotoGPs rules regarding drug use and riding? Seems these guys go out jacked up on painkillers all the time... At what point are they deemed unsafe for the track? Are there "performance enhancing rules" so someone can be disqualified for using certain drugs?
I've never seen it done. Is it a total free-for-all?

--- D | Actually, someone was bounced in the past 2 years for testing positive for marijuana. Wasn't it one of the Goberts? I know this was AMA, but I believe the FIM does random testing. I also vaguely remember something about Scott Russell when he did his 30 day stint with Suzuki in the GPs. |

He tested positive for a banned substance that is in Benadryl. They threatened to bar him from the race. I'm not sure if he raced that weekend or not.
