Hayden will now turn his attention to the V4 800cc Honda and hopes the forecast rain showers hold off long enough for him to evaluate the performance of the V4 as the test team prepare the machine for next test following the Grand Prix of Valencia in late October.

Did we know it was going to be a V4?

Prediction:

The 800cc bikes will be faster than this years 990cc bikes by the time the season starts.

Wasn't the point to slow the bikes down?

Nicky's times were all on testing more new parts for his lab/race bike, though.
I really liked this quote from HRC:
Quote:
However, testing during a race weekend is very rarely successful
That's pretty cool of them to understand now.

He'll get to ride the 800 next.

Are you talking about the difference between the rear rotors on the two bikes? That just shows riding styles.
Those front rotors look very, very right - depending on the size of your bank account.

Re: 800cc Honda

Carbon rotors have problems getting/staying hot, and they don't work unless they are hot, so they aren't drilled like you are used to seeing.
