Yep. Rossi was in first, Edwards second, Hayden had passed the little bastard to go into third, just a few laps into the race. The midget tries a boneheaded inside pass on Nicky, his "teammate", catches a peg on the curb, and lowsides into Nicky. Un-bloody-believable.

They showed a clip of Nicky walking away from the wreckage and he was just livid - shouting, cursing (rightfully so!). The announcer said he'd never seen Nicky angry like that before, and then said he didn't think he had ever seen anyone that angry before.

Nicky is showing a lot of restraint to not be beating Pedrosa to death with his helmet right at this moment

I know how *I* feel right now, so I can only imagine how Nicky feels. All the work, stress, rumors, internet BS, haters, etc, etc. And he gets taken out by his teammate. What a crock. I don't think I could restrain myself. They'd have to hold me down and prolly not before I got a few shots in on the midgit. Then I'd get sent to jail or some ****. Then I'd be the Yates of MotoGP.

To be honest I can't see how Hayden can ride as team mate with Pdrosa next year. Professionals and all that but the atmosphere will be unworkable. I think shorty better get looking for a new team.

That was what I was thinking too. When you saw the reaction of the Repsol team in the pits, they had to be just disgusted too. I wish they'd fire his ass, but they won't.

Re: SPOILER Estoril MotoGP

Hayden stuffed Asimo pretty hard earlier, a very aggressive move and I guess Asimo didn't like it and tried the same thing back on Hayden and it didn't go well for him.

Elias passed Rossi then Rossi battled back in the last part of the last lap and repassed Elias but Elias got him at the line by just inches.

What a ride for Kenny Jr. At least we have an American on the podium. Solid finish considering it's not even a satellite bike.

Re: SPOILER Estoril MotoGP

it sucks for Nicky but thats racing. Vale had his on track problems this year and still was in a position to win it. Pedrosa was still in contention and racing at that level I can understand him looking to win it. Plus no one wants to lose to their teammate. Its not like he cruised around in 10th place and didn't have a job next year, Pedrosa has talent and will likely be a World Champion. There is still a race left and Nicky needs to win and if he does Pedrosa better be between him and Rossi. Nicky can be the champion, it will just take more than consistency and bad luck for his biggest rival to do it.

Elias might have secured a better future by taking Rossi out on that first pass than winning the race though!

Fantastic race...looked like it was going to be a bit ordinary after Hayden/Pedrosa went out but thanks to Elias..what a guy...sliding all over the place, taking lines nobody else would, braking unbelievably late..Top stuff!..
Well done KRJR..he just said in Parc Ferme that when he crossed the line he expected to see the chequered flag and when he didn't it kind of put him off a bit..good result all the same though.

Well done Rossi for fighting all the way to the line when he didn't have to...the mark of a true champion.

Edwards comes good at last...and looks like he will be staying with Yamaha in '07.

So, 8 points in it going into Valencia...I can't bl**dy wait to get there!!

Feel sorry for Hayden, that was a stupid move buy Pedrosa..really fcukin stupid.
