Potentially better, yes, but not this season. I think 2007 will be a good year for Pedrosa...and that he will eclipse Hayden. | sadly i agree...
Dani isn't yet better that Hayden ~ but yeah he's 90% there after only 25% of the time learning the ropes...
if you believe the BS Dani's only problem is his size in regards to the weight & power of motogp & as you'll know, thats all changing next year.. |

i agree
pedrosa next year could be a real competitor for the championship
i doubt his size is creating problems for the 990 |

Kids. This is motorsports, not a ****ing track meet. It is a TEAM sport. If they just gave out the championship to the best rider or driver, there wouldn't have been much point in actually having the F1 races since Hakkinen retired and Scumacher reigned, or any 500 races after Doohan became the last man (almost) standing when Rainey and Schwantz left the scene.
The rules are published, and everybody ( with the exception of braindead podbots and their head-up-their-ass management) does what is necessary to get the most points. Having a superb rider is a great advantage, but it's only part of the package. The engineers and mechanics and the team managers have to do whatever they can to maximize their strengths and minimize their weaknesses.
Yeah, Rossi's the best rider. So what? If Hayden gets more points, then he and his "boys" deservedly win.
And if they lose, I hope every one of those HRC guys gets fired in disgrace. For dicking around developing parts for an obsolete machine when the championship is at stake. For kissing the ass of a sponsor that is working at cross purposes with the team.
For failing (again) to understand that the manufacturer's championship means nothing if you have twice the number of teams than anyone else. |

Those are actual people in the paddocks wearing team uniforms and not paid actors? How could this be? |

| Re: The Valencia showdown : Dani the sockcutter speaks. i personally think phuck head and hayden should run a few laps head to head. Kind of a showdown between the two of them. winner of the race will be the teams front runner loser the support rider.. Shouldn't the better rider be the one going for the championship anyway? |

For failing (again) to understand that the manufacturer's championship means nothing if you have twice the number of teams than anyone else. | Which is exactly why it pisses me off Mr Marketing Rossi doesn't run #1.
His mechanics and engineers worked harder for that plate than he did. |

barry sheen always #7, always remembered as such..
if yamaha marketing are pist that rossi is stil #46, then agv n dianese are gonna be litagation-tastic if he changes..
Rossi's # is important to him (sure u know why) & IMHO it's a comendable sign of his personality that he wont change it..
all those yam mechanics etc, with their yellow #46 team shirts.. EVERYONE knows who they work for & they undoutably wear them with pride |

I sure don't see how your support for a rider (or anything for that matter) can be swayed by a disconnected circumstance...it's a logical fallacy...

You guys are funny.
Have any of you raced a motorcycle?
Any of you worked on a crew at the pro racing level?
Those mechanics and engineers are working long after their rider is done banging the umbrella girls, and are back in the morning before he drags himself out of bed. When the rider crashes, or isn't on the pace, they'll frequently be pulling all-nighters. And their pay is often for **** compared to what they'd get outside the team.
But hey, I guess every rider who gives mad props to their TEAM doesn't know what in the hell they're talking about either. |

| Re: The Valencia showdown : Dani the sockcutter speaks. Beefus, if you think we wouldn't be hard on Hayden if the rolls were reversed, you have a lot to learn about Americans!
A little over 13 hour to go...
