WSB Champion 2003. Hasn't set AMA alight but went to the US for the cash. Spies and Mladin aside, AMA is p1sh. A few top guys and a bunch of also-rans who should be club racing.
Shame Spies has signed for next season, would have been good to see him prove himself in a world series...hope he doesn't do a Mladin and be a big fish in a small pond. Maybe MotoGP or WSB will come calling in for Spies in 2008. I hope so.

And Hodgson can't hold a candle to these "also-rans"
The top riders in the AMA are better than anything in your BSB series every day of every week. The BSB series is below sh1t. All of them should be club racing.
Hodgson won the WSBK title by default. No talent was left at all.
Mladin, Spies, DuHamel, Zemke - they would all beat any BSB rider every outing. They would all do well in WSBK as well.
Although now that Biaggi is there it will be a one and a half man show next year.

AMA should be the dogs b*ll*x, after all, this is the US....one huge mother fcukin country that should be able to produce a decent series and attract the best riders from around the world, but it doesn't....
I suppose your more interested in riding Harley tractors.... ;-) (with a few exceptions)
