| Re: Ben Speis has surgery Team Suzuki sources say that Spies should leave the hospital this evening, and then he will be driven in a motorhome back to his home state of Texas.
Nice to see Suzuki sparing no expence for their number 1 hopeful.

| Re: Ben Speis has surgery It's gonna cost a lot more for a motorhome and driver than a plane ticket. It's prolly so the poor guy will have some room. I know I'd rather travel by motorhome than plane with my messed up knee right now... |

Edit:
Its a pressurization thing...

| Re: Ben Speis has surgery Quote Spies suffered a tire failure
does spies run dunlop? is it just me or do they make some scary tires? it seems that they are blowing apart a lot lately. i think maladin should have dropped their a$$ this year after two blowouts. i think that it is pretty serious. is this a normal thing? just testing new tires? |

| Re: Ben Speis has surgery Almost all of the AMA grid runs Dunlops. Ducati Austin ran Michelins and a few privateers ran Pirellis this year, but the vast majority is on Dunlops. I can understand a failure when testing new tires, but it seems they've had an alarming share of problems this year.

| If you're worried about buying tires like the ones Spies crashed on, don't. You can't.

| Re: Ben Speis has surgery My roomate raced Daytona on Dunlops this year...no biggie. I always used them and loved them. I've had a couple that were out of round a bit, but no sign of delam type problems, even when I roached the hell out of em.
Abtech's had a slick fail on him before, and it wasn't Dunlop... |

| Re: Ben Speis has surgery The only Dunlops I ran this year were 208GPs at VIR. The rear developed a slit in it where it looked like one layer was coming apart. Everyone said it was 'normal' for Dunlops. Thanks, but I'll stick to the Michelins...

I'll give you a double Amen!!!
I know that my dislike of Dunlops is probably irrational, but when I ride with them I think the worst, so that affects me. |
