Toseland's ride in 08
James Toseland (One of my favorite riders) will be riding a Yamaha in MotoGP next year.
Soup :: Holy Crap: Tech 3 MotoGP Yamaha Hires Toseland :: 08-01-2007

A lot of good guys never made anywhere in MotoGP (like Haga). I hope he can kick some butt in MotoGP.

I wonder why Ben Spies can't get a ride over there? I wonder if he hates flying THAT much!

Being British i am 100% with you on Toseland and hopefully the tech 3 yam team should do better without the dunlops and have a more competetive edge with the michelins next season.

Another Britsh rider, Hodgson, is also one of my favorite riders, and it's a shame he didn't have a ride this year.

I just saw him mounted on the Corrona Honda last round. He looked good in lemon lime colors!

It must be his choice...I've heard that anytime Mladin wants to step up to GP, Suzuki will be waiting for him. The last time I heard him speak to the possibility, he said "Suzuki doesn't have a competitive bike in MotoGP". That was on the 990's. This year Suzuki isn't doing' half bad with the 800's. I'd ride for 'em in MotoGP...but I'm still waiting to do my first track day so it might be a season or two to wait...

As much as i am a hodgson fan, i think he has had his day in the limelight as far as a world series competitor.

Well, Haga came back to World SBK and doing pretty well. I'd love to see him win a world title. I also think Hodgson can do the same as I think he still has some left in him. How old is DuHamel?

I am glad that Toseland stepped up to MotoGP, I just thought he would sign with a more competitive team. But, we will have to see how much support the Tech 3 team gets next year.

Many riders who moved to GP from World SBK with titles have suffered on Satellite MotoGP teams. Hopefully he'll find his way to a factory ride soon.
