Czech MotoGP - Stoner wins pole yet again

BRNO, Czech Republic: MotoGP championship leader Casey Stoner won the pole position Saturday for the Czech Grand Prix, edging defending champion Nicky Hayden of the United States.
The Australian covered the 5.403-kilometer (3.358-mile) Brno circuit in 1 minute, 56.884 seconds on his Ducati in the only qualifying session for Sunday's race.
Hayden was 0.280 behind on his Honda. Another Honda rider, Dani Pedrosa of Spain, will join them on the front row after finishing third in 1:57.179.
John Hopkins was fourth in 1:57.567 despite the American crashing toward the end of the one-hour session.

Probably best to keep results out of thread titles.

Anyway the race is well and truly over now!!

The announcers spoke of Rossi like they felt sorry for him. I thought it was odd. When Hayden was struggling in the early part of the season adapting to his bike, they didn't speak of him that way...hmm.

Yeah I had not considered the competition for pole so I will keep that in mind for the future.
