2008 Italian MotoGp Tipping Thread

Is anyone prepared to tip against Rossi on home turf? Will Casey Stoner extent his lead even further? Who you are tipping for the Italian MotoGP?

Im sure Rossi will bounce back - crowd behind him.
Casey has got to be near the front, seems hard to imagine him not in the top 3 unless something surprising happens.

I guess the more interesting question is will the Repsol hondas continue their comeback. Has Hopkins gained the confidence to make the podium again.

Im going Stoner, Rossi, Pedosa

Stoner, then Rossi, Pedrosa, Hopkins and Hayden battling for the 2nd and 3rd position. Hayden and Hopkins have been showing some good speeds lately.

Rossi always seems to have a large portion of the crowd behind him - trouble is, the crowd isn't preparing or riding his bike. He most likely has not run this track in reverse either.
I'll go Stoner, Pedrosa, Hopkins, Vermuellin, Hayden. (but I won't put any money on that, mind you )

Lets hope it's a good race - can't wait

I think Westie is probably the only one to have raced it that way - he did a supersport earlier this year.

Re: 2008 Italian MotoGp Tipping Thread

Id seen the morning warmup - should have paid attention and adjusted my predictions (which were done before any sessions)

Anyway another boring race. As much as I like to see Stoner win he is doing it too easy. Worse - there wasnt any close battle behind him. I guess losing Rossi and Pedrosa took a couple of potential front runners out of the fight.
Hayden was unlucky but even when he got back still seemed to lose a lot of time on the leaders.

I cant see how Stoner could lose it from here. I think even if he doesnt finish any more races with Rossi struggling I think 80 odd points is more than he can do in 5 races.
