| Motegi Race - **SPOILER** Well Im not a big fan but I must admit that the Desmosedici GP7 800cc bike is a beast... Just seemed like he always had the better bike compared to everyone else. I think everyone else has a lot of catching up to do against the Desmosdici.. Wish I could ride that thing...
I guess he can drive too! |

And as much as people say "its a better bike" - he isnt the only one on a Ducati. I think he has only had 2 finished behind his team mate - once for tyres going off, this race when he played it safe and stayed out with his rivals.
He certainly hasnt made any mistake, no crashes and I cant even remember any run-wide-off-track which Rossi and others have done several times.
It will always take a bit of luck to win a championship. And a good bike with good tyres. But I think Casey has not only had some luck and a good bike, but has also been the standout rider this year. That he has won so convincingly over Rossi, Hayden, Pedosa and even Capirossi shows his talent. |

| Re: Stoner is the champ, 2nd youngest ever... Any one who says its just the bike needs to read what DICKNOSE posted. There was more than one Ducati out there and when Mick Doohan won 5 titles in a row there was more than one honda on the track. Come on guys, lets give credit when credit's due. Aussie aussie aussie, Oi oi oi. |

| Re: Stoner is the champ, 2nd youngest ever... Congrats to Stoner! But, yeah, put Spoiler in the subject line. Even if the race was 20 hours ago (in your corner of the world), it wasn't shown her in the US on Speed until 6 pm last night, so I imagine there are still folks who haven't seen it. I'm glad I was home to watch last night instead of catching up tonight, or I'd have been super pissed. |

Its hard when the whole topic is a spoiler, most titles would give it away. Quote: |

| Well it was that long ago everywhere in the world!
But I guess you mean the tv coverage. Quote: |
so I imagine there are still folks who haven't seen it.
| I guess at some point if you are that worried you probably should avoid internet sites that might spoil. So keep away from news or motorbike related sites!
I do agree that it shouldnt have been in the title (I posted a thread in the racing forum without a spoiler in the title). But if people are planning on watching sport that is delayed that much they do need to take a bit of responsibility for their own protection. |

| Re: Stoner is the champ, 2nd youngest ever... I do stay off sites where I'd expect to see results, but this site has rules about that and people should abide by them. Results should NEVER be in the title, and if the content contains results, the title needs to contain the word "spoiler". There's really no debate about this, it's site rules. |

Um sorry... But I didn't post the result to the race in the title... Stoner did not win the race he finished 6th... Also Hondagal its only a rules violation if u post the race results in the title from what I understand.. I didn't give the results of the race only that Stoner won the title, not who won the race or where everybody finished.. But like I said already guys and gals... Im Sorry.... |

| Re: Stoner is the champ, 2nd youngest ever... No biggie, I ended up sleeping through the night just fine. I just happen to read the subject line right when the announcers were getting all jazzed that Rossi was catching Stoner. For a moment, I was in suspense...then I saw the subject line. I should no better by now than to set at the PC while watching the race. See ya Bro!

| Re: Motegi Race - **SPOILER** No sweat, it didn't spoil it for me, as I watched it while it was being televised. True, the actual results weren't in, but perhaps someone wanted to watch and not know ahead of time that Stoner got the title. It wasn't a given that he'd get the title at this race, so I consider that info to also be a "spoiler". I'm just sayin'... |
