But what would be cool would be to have an American football team play rugby against a SA rugby team. And then have the same two teams play American Football. Would be interesting to watch....but this is way off topic.
Come on back Nicky to the best number, 69!! | Of course there aren't two football teams in SA. They aren't tough or athletic enough.
I'd love to see a group of NFL defensive linesman and linebackers play them in rugby. There would be piles of broken bodies everywhere.
Rugby players may be tough against other little guys like them, but let's see them go 100% effort against a bunch of 6'4" 275lbs monsters that bicep curl a rugby player's bodyweight for fun.
That's another game the US doesn't care about. |

And why would a rugby team be playing soccer anyway?
I know you have the intellect of a saltine cracker and all, but that statement was stupid even by your standards. |

Hell, even if you are LAST in a MotoGP race, that rider is still arguably the 20th or so best rider in the world that day. Not a bad spot to be; 20th best rider of all the riders in the world ... |

| Re: What number should Hayden run the rest of the year? Bobcat where the hell do you bloody come from.Back in 2004 when Rossi did his first race for yamaha he put lap times at Phakisa in South Africa up of 1.35s Clinton Seller a local guy putting up lap times of 1.41 on a GSX 600.And Nicollas Grobler 1.45s now wait for this,he is riding a honda 125.Know bare with me cause you going to say but it is 6sec off the pace which i allready know but if you can consider the bike rossi is riding against a GSXR600 the picture starts looking different. Now the next thing you going to say is if they are so good why arent they racing moto.gp.Well sponsership means they give you money to race to improve your bike to improve lap times to be seen to be able to get where the guys are of moto gp or did you think you go for a interview and if you can spot the difference between a suzuki and a honda they give you a bike to race in moto.gp.So for you to make such a statement is total rubbish. For you to be the heavy weight boxing champion of the world is not to say that you are now the best, yes you are the best in a public eye but there is always somebody out there that didnt had the oppertunity or that may be is just not intressted in boxing proffesional. Please think before you chip in and the drugs i am on is obviosly not as good as that **** you smoking but then you riding an old cbr and are only 27 so you need to still learn a hell of a lot about life. |

Why do you think Rossi has struggled and Casey hasn't? Quote:

what about stoner.. do you think he will take the #1? i personally think he should keep his #27 |

He won the title with just 2 race wins. Rossi, Melandri and Caparossi won more races.
While Hayden was consistent, but his winning the championship was as much to do with others sharing the wins and points rather than him dominating.
66 race starts - 3 wins
That is a good summary of Hayden's ability at the top level.
Yes he is a good rider, but the stats would say that there are several better around.
Good chance he will be remembered as the guy who had a lucky year.
He might even go on to do a "Kenny Roberts Jnr" and never win another race after getting his championship (although I doubt he will stay in for 6 and half seasons as a mid/back runner) |

| Re: What number should Hayden run the rest of the year? - **Phillip Island SPOILER** Take out Stoner put the crack pipe down and move back.
He would no more do that to Stoner, than Stoner would do it to him. Personally I think his tires would have faded and he would have dropped back as did Rossi and Pod. As far as his record it is hard being as consistant as he was. Blaming it on what others did... what about getting taken out by your own teammate which made the season go to the wire? If you want to look at bad luck last year Caparossi is the king of it. He got taken out multiple races or he MIGHT have been champ. But that is all bench racing which is easy, performing is harder. By your standards I was third in the state racing dirt track when young, the reality is that I missed the championship due to a trail riding accident. That made me 10th of 10 as I did not start. Anything else would be BS as is your argument.

as much as you degrade nicky hayden, neither you or i are anywhere near as good of a rider as he is.
