| Norik 'Nori' Abe was killed... in a street accident in Japan. SOUP does not have much details and I am avoiding some sites due to WSBK races being tape delayed. Thinking back to more then a decade ago, for most of us who followed the MotoGP scene witness a 19yr old wildcard at the '94 Japanese grand prix go toe to toe against lengends like Schwantz and Rainey battle for the lead. An event that would be remembered as one of the great spectacle in racing history. Abe had quite a successful career, he will surely be missed. |
