| It should have. Something failed on that one. On another board a guy suggested that Haydens crew had to much to drink the night before and "double dog dared" someone to unplug the launch control. I'm pretty sure that isn't what happened but it makes it seem funnier.

| Re: Pedrosa's Wheelie on a test start... maybe it was just the right conditions for the launch/wheelie control to fail.
he's not a rookie though. that's an RC212V so that took place this year.

| Re: Pedrosa's Wheelie on a test start... It was at Phillip Island - they started one of the practice sessions with everyone doing a practice start on the main straight.
Some rumours are that he didnt engage the launch control.
Hey at least it was practice and not the race start. |

| Re: Pedrosa's Wheelie on a test start... That was pretty funny. You'd think he could be able to launch like the rest of us do, or at least come off throttle fast enought to keep from having to bail like that...

| Re: Pedrosa's Wheelie on a test start... Now you know what kind of grip a heated michelin prototype tire has.

Problem is the bike had no forward momentum so off the throttle or even on the rear brake wasnt going to save it - it was always going to fall over sidewards. |

you also didn't/don't have over 220hp on a bike that weighs just over 326lbs and you probably don't weigh 107lbs.
