| Who bought MotoGP packages for 2008? All right, who's really ready for the MotoGP season???
I bought the High res package just like I did last year. Which turned out to be smart for me. I have a two year old that takes up most of my weekend, so watching races at 3pm PST was almost impossible. I think I watched over half of them on the computer last year. Sometimes I would stay up and watch them live. Other times it might be the next day or the next week. But I saw them all in great clarity on high res.

| Re: Who bought MotoGP packages for 2008? No Hi Res for me yet. But the convenience and overall coverage (as opposed to Speed's) is a big plus

Do you have any idea what 99 euros are worth these days?

Its not that expensive. I'm sure you've wasted money on less.

| Re: Who bought MotoGP packages for 2008? Okay, I voted for the sixth one but I still don't feel that it adequately represents my opinion.
99 euros is up around $150 bucks now, just in time for next weeks trip to Germany. We won't be springing for the BMW when it comes time to pick up the rental car.

-jh | Try 18-20, I'll probably go into family medicine. They don't make that much and I'll have over $200K to pay back.

We get one chance to see the 125 races. And that is usually two weeks after the event, late morning on a Tuesday.

Sometimes they even show the races out of order and are nice enough to spoil the other races because the announcers (unbeknownst to them) talk about the winners of the previous races.

| Re: Who bought MotoGP packages for 2008? I watch it on free to air television - a nice digital widescreen picture and I can record it on my pvr.
Quite a few races are delayed because of the timezones but even then they do a decent thing and show the MotoGP first (at midnight and so typically only an hour behind) then the 250s and 125s.
Some races are live - like this week at 7am.
Hopefully they will show more live using the stations new alternate channel (its an HD channel, but they do show some stuff that isnt HD) |
