Lorenzo crashed....

...hard and is hurting badly but wants to try to participate in the trainings and qualifying.

Did anyone see the crash?

If it has wheels, I've crashed it, and some things that don't razor scooter, skate board, roller skates, roller blades, skis, snowmobile, card board box on stairs, giant inner tube, nissan sentra, dirtbike, lawn tractor (wheelied it over), grandmas bread tray on stairs, kayak, canoe, rubber raft, bicycle, wake board, kneeboard, waterskis, tobaggan (plowed a pine tree), horses, ATV's

Yeah, chipped bone in his left ankle is the only thing that is wrong. They think there is a chance that he could still race.

Ouch...and that is supposed to be one of the slow corners of the circuit. They said he'll be riding tomorrow, so he must be OK.

He seemed ok he was watchin the end of free practice last night, a few bandages but looked in good enough form, hopefully he'll be good to go.

Update: Reports say Lorenzo is hurt and might not ne running the next race. It was written that he broke two bones in his leg and tore ligaments.

Yep, that's what I heard. Makes his fourth place finish even more impressive. I might have to become a closet Lorenzo fan.

I'm with you man. . . I never liked him a whole lot in the 250 class, but it's undeniable, he's a good rider, with a massive amount of determination and heart.

But if anybody asks, I'm still rooting for Nick, Colin or Capirossi!
