He died doing something he loved. The North West races go onn at the request of his family.

True. He had already crashed badly at IOMTT and came back from those injuries, so it's obvious his passion for the sport was great. He was an outstanding real roads racer that, IMHO, didn't seem to get the recognition he deserved because he was always in Joey's shadow. Godspeed.

Fair play to Roberts sons Michael and William. They choose to compete in the 250 race. Michael won the race while William had a mechanical fault on the warm up lap.
Road racing lives on.!!
