... well, actually it would be 2011.

Did anyone hear any news about this?

Not sure of the rules yet, regarding chassis and engine make up, nobody is. As far as I know it is happening, it will be four stroke engines and they will be around the 600cc mark. Obviously apprilla Gilera KTM etc etc are crying foul. shouting words like NEVER . I'll be sad to see the 250's go, but its time enough. IMHO they are around a few years too long as it is.

It will be interesting to read the rules. How much difference will there be between this new 600cc class, and World Supersport... I would have liked to have seen a 400cc unlimited class taking the place of the 250s... just my opinion...

that all officially for now, I look forward to hearing what the manufacturers have to say on this. Especially now its no longer paddock rumours!

600 "MotoGP" bikes sounds fast! We know that 800's are going around the track faster than 990's, I wonder how far off these 600's will be to their big brothers. I can't wait to see these super-600's on tracks.
