Was kinda hoping he'd go to Ducati, but I think this move is good for racing.

Re: Rossi: It's official

What's up with the testing ban. I've always thought that type of thing was lame. Nothing wrong with testing year round. It's not like these guys are still in school (like the NCAA).

Re: Rossi: It's official

This is good news for MGP...

I would imagine however that Yamaha will glean as much from Burgess as they do from Rossi.....

I agree. *Burgess going to Yamaha is huge.
That's what I meant when I mentioned in the other thread that Yamaha was willing to pay for engineering in other ways. Burgess most certainly signed a confidentiality agreement with Honda, but Yamaha are just as certainly willing to pay the legal fees associated with it.

Re: Rossi: It's official

Next year will be prehaps, one of the best ever. *I can't remember a race more exciting than Imola WSBK 2002 but MotoGP next year will have several great races.

When Rossi beats Biaggi, Honda ought to shot Max in the head. 'My bike is not as good as the Yamaha!' I can hear it now.... cry baby
